The collection includes personal papers and photographs, 1940-1990. Also included are Jack O’Neill’s journals from 1973, 1977 and 1982. His theses and course outlines are also available, 1967-1988. Detailed information on the collection can be found in the content listing.
About John O’Neill
John O’Neill graduated with the Norwich University class of 1944. He joined the Norwich chemistry department in 1947 and rose to the rank of associate professor emeritus of chemistry in 1987. John O’Neill served in Italy during World War II. He married Isabel Watson (d. 1989) on 8 October 1960. John O’Neill died on 15 February 2000. His obituary in the Northfield News for 24 February 2000 contains additional biographical information on John O’Neill as does the control file.

John O’Neill’s sesquicentennial decade advancement program plaque and black leather wallet were transferred to the Sullivan Museum and History Center on 19 February 2010.
