About William S. Lee
Sergeant William S. Lee was a long-time aide to General Isaac D. White and a twenty-year veteran of the U.S. Army, 1941-1961. Lee began his service as an enlisted aide to General I.D. White in January 1946 and remained on White’s enlisted staff until March 1961, when he retired at the same time as General White. William Lee continued to work for General White after his retirement. He graduated from San Mateo High School in California in 1939.
